Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are eagerly anticipating the birth of their first child. After getting married in 2020, the couple revealed their pregnancy in February of 2024 with a joint announcement on Instagram, stating, “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world.”

Richa Chadha is embracing her pregnancy and believes that her pregnancy has brought luck to her husband.

During an interview with Filmygyan, Richa mentioned that she believes Ali (Fazal) has been very fortunate during her pregnancy, as he unexpectedly landed roles in 4-5 films.

She also disclosed that her husband received numerous international audition opportunities and inquiries from overseas. “It was quite interesting for me to see. It’s a blessing, you can’t plan these things when it happens, it happens,” she added.

On the professional front, Richa Chadha recently featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series ‘Heeramandi’.

Discussing her short but significant part in the online show. She shared with ETimes, “The script was not in my control. But I took a calculated risk in doing this show with the smallest screen time, and the amount of love I am getting is disproportionate to the screen time. So, I am very happy. The whole experience has been beautiful. I wanted to do something that would break the stereotype of the earlier parts that I have done, and in some way, I think I have managed to do that.”
