KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan was ecstatic after the Knight Riders won the IPL 2024 crown on Sunday in Chennai. The Bollywood superstar celebrated the triumph with his children, Suhana, AbRam, and Aryan, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Shah Rukh quickly joined the team in their celebrations after the memorable victory in the IPL final.

Shah Rukh Khan kissed mentor Gautam Gambhir on the forehead, acknowledging his contribution in his first season as KKR mentor. Shreyas Iyer became the second KKR captain after Gambhir to win the IPL 2024 trophy, ending their 10-year wait.

The KKR camp buzzed with elation as Gambhir lifted Sunil Narine, both cricketers giving rare smiles to the cameras. Gambhir’s impact was evident as Narine finished the IPL 2024 season as the Most Valuable Player with 488 runs and 17 wickets.

Shah Rukh shared a warm hug with fast bowler Mitchell Starc, their costliest signing in IPL auction history. Starc had a lengthy chat with Shah Rukh, who was pleased with his performance, especially in the big stages. Starc took five wickets in the Qualifier and the IPL 2024, crucial in defeating the SunRisers.

Shah Rukh also acknowledged head coach Chandrakant Pandit with a warm embrace along the boundary rope in Chennai. Shah Rukh took a victory lap around the stadium, striking his trademark pose and blowing flying kisses to fans.

The actor’s presence was a relief for fans as he joined the team for the final after recovering from dehydration in Ahmedabad. Shah Rukh was admit to a hospital after KKR’s Qualifier 1 win on Tuesday.
