Suri has joined college at Carnegie Mellon University, announced in a TikTok video celebrating her class’ college choices. The video featured students wearing their college sweatshirts on ‘Decision Day,’ with Suri seen in a red Carnegie Mellon University sweatshirt.

Carnegie Mellon University counts notable alumni like Zachary Quinto (‘Star Trek,’ 2009), Ted Danson (‘The Good Place,’ 2016), and Ethan Hawke (‘Dead Poets Society,’ 1989).

She is interested in studying fashion, and sources mention that her mother, Katie Holmes, helped her with college applications. Suri has always been determined to pave her path.

Last year, Holmes worked on a project titled ‘Rare Objects,’ dedicated to her, where she contributed by singing a song. This was not the first time; Suri had previously sung for one of Holmes’ movies (‘Alone Together’). The film’s credits included the words “Dedicated to her.”

In 2023, Holmes expressed her delight in having Suri participate in her projects, stating, “I hope she continues to be involved in my films. I always encourage her to do so.” Holmes emphasized her love for the film industry and how projects become like a family, providing a safe, creative environment. She added, “It was very meaningful to me to have her there because she’s my heart.”

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise became parents to Suri in 2006. After 5 years of marriage, Holmes and Cruise went their separate ways.
