Before the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, Pierre Gasly made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival with his girlfriend, Kika Gomes. Both Gasly and Gomes showcased some impressive outfits during the festival.

Pierre Gasly also promoted a $80,000 timepiece for Alpine’s sponsor Moser, in addition to his stylish attire.

Chad Alexander reported that the French driver sported a rose gold watch from the Swiss brand at the festival. The watch, known as the Endeavor Tourbillon concept, features a Vanta black dial and has a price tag of $82,000.

Starting from the 2024 season, Moser became the sponsor of Alpine. They are among the most established Swiss watch brands, with a history of watchmaking dating back to 1828. Before Moser, it was Bell & Ross that sponsored Alpine.

Gasly has already resumed racing in Monaco this weekend after attending the Cannes Film Festival. He achieved his best qualifying position of the season with a tenth-fastest lap time.

The 28-year-old driver will now aim to capitalize on his strong qualifying performance and secure his first points of the 2024 season.

Can Pierre Gasly help Alpine turn their fortunes around in Monaco?

The 2024 season has been tough for Alpine, as they have only earned one point in the first seven races. The single point was secured in Miami, thanks to Esteban Ocon’s tenth-place finish.

However, with Ocon and Pierre Gasly qualifying 11th and 10th in Monaco, the team has a great chance to score more points this weekend due to the challenging nature of overtaking on the Monaco circuit.

Gasly expressed his satisfaction with his qualifying performance, especially considering his struggles in the current season. He has been consistently outperformed by Ocon, but now has an excellent opportunity to turn things around.
